Crisis
Put on Endangered list June 4th, 1973. Their main prey, White-Tail Deer was very scarce in the areas they did live, mainly east earlier on, caused the Eastern Puma to be put on the endangered list. Also bounty hunter were poaching them for their hide and also because many farmers thought they were a danger to their livestock so they would be shot. Also now a days the Puma is being threatened even more because of cities expanding more and more and also more people moving out to the countries which lose the Pumas food and resources and also their shelter. So if people keep moving out and expanding the Puma will soon be extinct.
